A wonderful neighborhood watering hole - with great indoor facilities/bar and inviting outdoor patio. Love the sliding garage doors that when opened connect the inside and outside seamlessly. The service is first rate from the friendly bartenders to the food servers. Their brunch menu on weekends is killer good. The list of draft beers are extensive and well curated. There are multiple big screens for watching major sports contests inside and outside. The only complaint is that inside the music volume is often so loud that conversations among friends can be difficult.

I've been living in the neighborhood for a few months now and stumbled upon this bar that happens to be down the street from my house. I decided to go here with my best friend and dog since it was the closest dog friendly bar to us. There's parking located in front of the bar as well as a couple lots down there were also people parking along the street. You do have to go to the bar for service and it is also self seating. Looks like you're typical dive bad but I will say the inside was elegantly decorated. I ordered a margarita on the rocks with tajin on the rim. I love the second one I got with the blanco tequila versus the first one I got it had -mezcal type tequila in it and I'm not a huge fan of Mezcal. I also ordered the spinach dip it was surprisingly really good. Usually, I have to add salt at some restaurants, but this one didn't need it. My best friend ordered a shrimp Caesar salad with a side of brussels sprouts I did get to taste the brussels sprouts we both agreed that it could've used a little bit more salt, but I was still happy with the taste of it. All the food looks good on the menu so I will definitely be back to try out more options! They also have specials throughout the week yesterday was a steak and $20 bottle of wine night.

Was staying at the Hampton Inn which was practically walking distance from Down The Street but I chose to drive there (will walk next time). I went on a Monday night during their ribeye special night. The steak was cooked perfectly. That potato gratin was also 10/10. The service was just as good as the food. They knew everything about their restaurant!

Loveee their steak night. You get to choose between a filet & ribeye which I love a filet so easy choice. The seasoning on the steak is amazing. Loved the au gratin potatoes as well & their wine bottle specials. Highly recommend to anyone & will be back for steak night :)

I went here for brunch with some of my friends a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it! The burger was really big and very filling. The music they played seemed really random and didn't go together at all though, and it was so noticeable that several people in my group commented on it. Service was good, you order at the bar. There's also a water station so you don't have to go up to the bar for it!

I hadn't been to Down the Street in ages, but decided to go catch the Astros game one evening with a few friends. There are many TVs inside and out, so you'll always have one in sight anywhere you sit. I was quite impressed with the beer selection. I had a couple of great IPAs. We decided to get some food as well, opted for the pizza and wings. Both were solid, helped wash all those beers down :) The staff was exceptionally friendly and had great recommendations. I'll definitely go back soon!
